Session 14 — Open Monitoring

Shifting practice from focused attention to open monitoring, we explore how to expand our perspective beyond a single anchor to encompass the entire constellation of consciousness. By stepping back from the narrow spotlight of attention, we learn to rest as the space of awareness itself, where thoughts, sights, sounds, and physical sensations appear and disappear all on their own. This session introduces the vital distinction between "worldly" feeling tones tied to fleeting external conditions and the "unworldly" peace intrinsic to awareness.
