17: Forgiveness

Meditation 17_St Lukes

“Forgiveness happens naturally when you see that it has no purpose other than to strengthen a false sense of self, to keep the ego in place. The seeing is freeing.”
– Eckhart Tolle

Session 17 — Forgiveness
Forgiveness is commonly understood as something you do — an act of self-will performed in the direction of someone who wronged you.

This session examines why that framing is what makes forgiveness so difficult, and what forgiveness actually is when you look at it through the lens of reality rather than convention. The session traces the obstacle to a single source: ignorance — defined not as lack of knowledge but as a fixed conceptual position preserved by actively paying no attention to what is actually true.
